Son of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vilasrao Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh is a well-known name in the film industry today. He made his bollywood debut in 2003 with Tujhe Meri Kasam which faired average at the box office, followed by Out of Control which was a dud. He became a known face after the 2004 comedy film Masti. He has mainly taken on comic roles and a few serious roles. He was seen in several comedy films including Kya Kool Hai Hum, Malamaal Weekly and Apna Sapna Money Money. He then also appeared in a supporting role in Bluffmaster. In 2007, he was first seen in a guest appearance in Namastey London and then in the multi-starrer action film Cash which was a box office failure. Later that year, he appeared in Sajid Khan's directorial debut Hey Baby, which was a huge hit and is his most commercially successful film to date. After De Taali in 2008, he did Aladin, Rann, Do Not Disturb and Housefull in 2010, struggling to keep his charm as an actor in tinsel town. Recently he got married with Genelia D’Souza in a lavish Maharashtrian-style wedding and the newlywed couple was in Delhi to promote their upcoming romantic comedy Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya on Valentine’s Day. There, they got candid about the film, love and life.
