Bollywood’s latest dusky beauty Chitrangda Singh has stunned audiences with her looks in the upcoming ‘Joker’. She reportedly says actors and the media make too much brouhaha about married female actors not getting plum projects in Bollywood. This 36-year-old earned fame in Bollywood while married to golfer Jyoti Randhawa. Chitrangda had an unexpected hit in ‘Desi Boyz’ and is now being much talked about for her item song ‘Kaafirana’ in ‘Joker’. Marriage isn’t an impediment to career in films, says Chitrangda adding that one needs to focus on both, particularly the career. Her husband really liked the item song and complimented her for the ethnic, rustic look. He even told her she looked the hottest ever in the sexy song. She is happy taking a risk with the item song and not trying to make over her image, she contends. Her upcoming projects include Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Inkaar and ‘I, Me Aur Main’ with John Abraham. Her ‘Inkaar’ is based on sexual exploitation of women at work place. This is a love story in which Arjun has performed fabulously well. She has seen the rough edit and she is very excited about it.This is the third film with Mishra after her debut ‘Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi’ and ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’.

The actress regrets that she is in the spotlight for just doing a song (“Kafirana” in ‘Joker’). She adds that there is nothing objectionable about the lyrics or dance steps. Moreover, she has just tried to bring in the sensuousness that Madhuri carried in “Humko Aajkal Hai” in ‘Sailaab’. She hasn’t copied Madhuri as anyone cannot do a Madhuri, she is someone so special.
