Digvijay defends Khurshid
February 10, 2012
Varanasi, February 10 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Friday came out in support of union Law Minister Salman Khurshid after the Election Commission censured him for violating the model code of conduct in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh. Addressing a press conference in Varanasi, Singh said it was the right of every political party to make promises during the elections. Taking a dig at the BJP and other parties contesting the elections, Singh added the people of Uttar Pradesh would not vote to bring in an unstable government in the state.
