Tourism department held a sound and light show based on world famous Taj in India's northern Agra city recently in a bid to boost tourism in the region. Traditional Ritual Srinagar, August 03 (ANI): Amarnath Cave Pilgrimage is one of the biggest annual pilgrimage made to the Amarnath cave by lakhs of Hindu devotees on challenging mountainous terrain of India's northern Jammu and Kashmir state. Hindu pilgrims with several saints in Srinagar city perform the ritual of carrying the 'Chadi Mubarak' (the holy mace of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati) to the snow-capped mountain shrine of Amarnath. Holy Dip Ayodhya, August 03 (ANI): Bathing in the Holy River has its own significance in India. To mark the occasion of Shravana Poornima i.e. a full moon day, Hindu devotees in Ayodhya town in Uttar Pradesh take a dip in River Sarayu, which is revered as sacred as per Hindu scriptures.
