Maddy in a new avatar

R. Madhavan will be seen in a new avatar in his forthcoming film ‘Jodi Breakers’. In fact, Maddy had a series of firsts coming his way while shooting for the film. The actor, who is known for his sober demeanor, shot for a peppy dance number in the movie where he not just jives with a dozen pretty women in a foam sequence, but even goes underwater! The movie’s director Ashwini Choudhary says that shooting became tedious when the set created by foam started melting because of all the lighting. Luckily, Madhavan is adventurous and likes all kinds of water sports. So, there was no problem from his side, at least.
In the same movie, Bipasha Basu who is very proud of her namesake item number Bipasha will soon be facing some stiff competition from Bollywood’s original item queen Helen. The veteran dancer-actress has been roped in to perform a special musical in Bipasha’s film! Helen plays a music teacher in Bips’ upcoming ‘Jodi Breakers’ and this special number is supposed to add more dimension to her character. However, this track was not planned for her initially, and she was only shown jiving a step or two. However, the makers then thought of working on fast track and created a piece that resonates the golden style of R.D. Burman! The makers are now overjoyed to have two sizzling beauties from two different eras performing in the same film.
