Madhur Bhandarkar is busy these days in making a reality flick titled 'Jail'. The movie is said to be based on the jail life of actor Sanjay Dutt and his ex-wife Rhea Pillai though it's being denied by the filmmaker. You may recall that the actor is busy now in entering into electoral politics and has been campaigning for it from the famous Lucknow constituency of Uttar Pradesh that is presently occupied by none other than former Prime Minister and BJP stalwart Atal Behari Vajpayee.

This is another matter that Vajpayee hasn't yet made up his mind to contest it due to his long illness. However, the Socialist Party of Mulayam Singh has announced Sanjay's candidature from Lucknow. Political circles wonder if the court would permit Sanjay Dutt to contest the election in view of the latter being freed on bail following his conviction in a criminal offence. Sanjay has sent a message to the director to make sure that he is kept out of it. Madhur also denies that the film is based on Sanju's life and adds that the protagonist is a middle-class man who gets into jail for no fault of his. Moreover, Bhandarkar says that he would ask Sanjay to play the role himself in case he would make one on his life!
