'Aisha' is the forthcoming romantic comedy starring Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Arunoday Singh. This is the first time that Sonam is pairing with Abhay Deol. The music of 'Aisha' is composed by Amit Trivedi of 'Dev D' and 'Aamir' fame has composed the music and well known lyricist has written the lyrics. Incidentally, well known actor and producer and also father of Sonam Kapoor, the leading lady of the movie has produced it.

The album opens with a romantic track "Suno Aisha…..". Amit Trivedi sings the song backed by Addit, Nakash Aziz and Ash King. Javed Akhtar's lyrics are nice to hear and simple to understand. The excellent use of trumpet makes sounds fantastic and gives the track a new dimension. The song oozes vibrancy and colour due to the peppy beats and guitar fusion. So, a perfect romantic track!

Now comes the fast paced track "Gal Mitthi Mitthi Bol…". Tochi Raina sings the song. The diverse mix of traditional bhangra sounds very good. Again excellent lyrics by Javed Akhar lend full support to the music! Significantly, both the music and lyrics are set for fast paced track. Overall a rocking track!

Then follows a party mix fast paced track "Behke Behke…." sung by Anushka Manchanda, Samrat and Raman Mahadevan. Dhol beats and rap make this track brilliant. Another good Track!

Next track is "Shaam.." Amit Trivedi, Nikhil D'Souza and Neuman Painto sing it. Another situational romantic track from the album! Javed Akhtar's lyrics are impressive. Good use of guitar by Amit. Simple and soothing track from of the album!

The next track is "Lehrein….." sung by Anusha Mani, Neuman Pinto and, Nikhil D'souza. The track starts with slow-paced background music and later includes band music. Lyric are impressive and different. Overall, a good track!

Still another track is "By the way….." . This is indeed a rocking number, and mix of fast band and rap music. Anoushka Manchanda and Neuman Pinto sing it. The soundtrack introduces free spirit. The lyrics of the song are also very inspiring.

The following two tracks are the remix version of "Gal Mitthi Mitthi (The Bombay Bounce Dhol Mix)" and "Lehrein (The Bombay Bounce Lounge Mix)". Both remixes are subtle and give due respect to the originals.

Overall, music director of Aisha - Amit Trivedi - tries to introduce very different music with all the soundtracks. This is the first time when Amit Trivedi is joining the mainstream commercial cinema. Lyrics of the songs are also worth appreciation. On the whole, 'Aisha' music has all the ingrediants to make the album a hit. Good job, Amit. Keep it up.
