The music of 'Anjaana Anjaani' is another feather in the cap of music director duo Vishal-Shekhar after their hit album of 'I Hate Luv Storys'. Both have created a kind of magic for their audience. In fact, the music is an added feature of the movie that is going hit theaters on October 1, 2010. This is likely to sway the youngsters. Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth are going to score because of their musical scores. The album offers nine tracks. Opening with the title track "Anjaana anjaani ki kahani", a club dance number will win the hearts of the younger generation. Nikhil DSouza and Monali Thakur have crooned this upbeat and peppy number that gels well with the dancers.

Then follows rock number "Hairat" sung by none other than Lucky Ali. This is good enough to make the album a chartbuster.

Then comes Sufi Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's sweet and inspiring voice in "Aas pass khuda". This song appeals to the conscience of the listener. Shruti Pathak joins Rahat Ali Khan in this song.

Then enter Shekhar and Caralisa Monteiro with their attractive number "Tumse hi tumse". Being a love song it would indeed capture the hearts of the youth brigade, who would like its acoustic guitar strumming.

The next song is "Tujhe bhula diya" that has a folk taste given to it by Shruti Pathak.

Then follows the silken voice of Mohit Chauhan and later that of Shekhar. Significantly, their song also has a remixed version called "The dance to forget" mix.

Still another is "I feel good" with Vishal and Shilpa Rao providing it a rock touch from behind the mike. Finally, the other title track of the album is also by the Vishal and Shilpa duo. It's just an average number though.

Overall, the album is a definite hit in many ways. While an average album has five songs, it has nine tracts, seven are full length. "Hairat", "Anjaana Anjaani Ki Kahani" and "Tujhe Bhula Diya" are the best songs. The credit for being a brilliant album the credit goes to Vishal- Shekhar.
