The music giant Eros Music is coming up with multistarrer and much hyped and eagerly awaited film 'Heroes', presented by Eros International in association with Mega Bollywood. Under the banner of Future Picture Company the movie is directed under the able direction of the Samir Karnik. The film is already grabbing attention towards its great Punjabi music. Sajid Wajid duo and Monty, who have come up with the Punjabi beats that don't just go by the theme of the film but also have a chartbuster appeal to them, have composed the hit music. Jalees Sherwani and Rahul B. Seth have penned the lyrics.

The movie contains 11 tracks and the first track "Mannata" is a typical Punjabi duet with soothing voice of Sonu Nigam and Kavita Krishnamurty. It is a slow romantic track commences with the superb combining of 'ektara', flute and piano notes it immediately transports the listener to the beautiful lush green and yellow mustard fields of Punjab. "What's Up My Bro" is a heady mix of a pacy, amazing track with Kunal Ganjawala voice coordinating well with fusing of sitar with distortion guitar sounds. Overall the track is fast paced song with passionate voice of Kunal creating an aura of excitement and passion.

"Makhana" is again Punjabi tadka with Sukhwinder making anyone tap their feet. The number may sound familiar but Sukhwinder dominates the track with his earthy, robust full of feelings vocals. The number is sure to set the dance floor ablaze and will have the public dancing in the aisles in country. "Badmash Launde" is a raunchy item number with Bhojpuri fusion with rock. The different lyrics are penned down by Rahul B. Seth. Gurbani in the voice of Shail Hada is an exceptionally great song.

The 'Heroes' theme starts with 'Wat's Up My Bro' signature tune on piano, followed by dramatic army drill sounds but the pace slows down and we have the mesmerizing 'Mannata' tune and lone female chorus. In short, it is a nice amalgamation of the different soundtracks of the album. "Wht's Up my bro"- Cruiser is superb mix by DJ Romeo and DJ Raoul and in keeping with the title the number truly cruises such is the pace and the effect of the added instruments. Mannata-Lover's Paradise mix', is an all out instrumental that is a treat in itself. Badmash Launde-Blasted Mix' is the usual all pace, heightened rhythm remix that one is used to in these days of remix culture.

On the whole, 'Heroes' is one of the better albums to have come out recently. It has an assortment of tracks that depict different moods in keeping with the situations in the movie. By and large, the songs maintain a uniformly good standard.
