Nana Patekar in Bharathirajaa?s Cinema film was launched amidst fanfare on March 26 at Hotel J.W. Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai. Sunday, March 26, was alluring and sensational in the history of Bollywood. It was a day when the Southern famed director Bharathirajaa blew his trumpet once again to make a Hindi film. He has joined hands with NRIs based in U.S.A. to make his golden jubilee (50th) film titled CINEMA. A film within a film; wherein Nana Patekar will be playing the main protagonist. He will be portraying Bharathirajaa, the director in the film. Bharathirajaa directs the film and jointly produces it with Paul C. Pandian - U.S.A. and Dr. Raj T. Rajan - U.S.A, under the banner of Therkathi Kalai Koodam. The guests at the mahurat were South super-star Vikram, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Manmohan Shetty, David Dhawan and Pahlaj Nihalani.
