Shilpa looked highly disappointed, as she felt nobody recognized her! Her fault - she was wearing a casual t Shirt and pants and with no makeup. Maybe, the people mistook her for some obscure model!

The actor-turned-filmmaker Aamir Khan wants to maintain perfection in his new job of filmmaking. He doesn't want to take any chance with his image of a perfectionist. So, he is leaving no stone unturned in launching his nephew Imran Khan in the film 'Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na'. Besides, this will help promote first-time director Abbas Tyrewala as well, who was afraid of entering direction so soon. Aamir as usual is ready to benefit others. Abbas tells us that he wanted to become a director later but the destiny had other plans.

GREAT MOVE TO BUY PEACE IN TINSEL TOWN?

There has been happening an interesting thing in the tinsel town. Amitabh Bachchan has been offered a role in Sajid Nadiadwala's next film to be directed by Siddharth Anand. The interesting part is that Sajid is the most dear and close friend of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray who has only recently accused Amitabh Bachchan of being partial to his home state of Uttar Pradesh in preference to his state of residence (Maharashtra). If Big B were to accept the role, he would actually be doing a film for Raj's buddy Sajid. Isn't this move to broker peace between him and Raj Thackeray? Incidentally, Sajid is trying to rope in his another favorite star Salman Khan with Amitabh. Will the Big B accept the Sajid movie offer to act along with Salman in spite of the alleged ill behavior by the latter with his bahu Aishwarya Rai? If it happens, there will be a revival of peaceful atmosphere in Bollywood.

Dimple Jhangiani though a new comer yet plays two roles in a movie. She plays Kanya, the main protagonist in 'Kuchh Istara', who behaves like her dead sister Natasha on seeing fire. Dimple says she knew the graph of the character and was aware of the fact that the role was quite complex! She was told that she would be playing a split personality, but she had to work really hard on the character. She says, "I watched a few films like 'Deewangi' and a Tamil flick to prepare myself to play a split personality." Kanya is a normal and simple girl whereas Natasha is bold and has a lot of attitude. "It is not easy to be Kanya one moment and turn Natasha in a flash of a second," she adds.
