'Nehle Pe Dehle' promises one of the first comical entertainments of this year with hot selling acting talents as lead players. Like 'Bhagam Bhag', this film is a comical murder mystery that boasts cast of stars like Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu and Kim Sharma in lead roles. The film was earlier titled 'Jimmy Aur Johny' with Sanjay Dutt playing "Johny" and Saif Ali Khan essaying "Jimmy" roles, respectively. Hot and seductive Neha Dhupia is expected to make guest appearance in an item song to give film a fresh look. The film plot is about two small time crooks teaming up with a dead body to acquire colossal wealth and property. The film promises to be a laugh riot as these two crooks hurdle many adversaries but win over their rivals in the end. Debutante director Ajay Chandhok, who assisted director David Dhawan in 'Aankhen' (Govinda, Chunky Pandey), 'Deewana Mastana', 'Coolie No 1', 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', 'Haseena Maan Jayegi', 'Jodi No 1' and 'Ek Aur Ek Gyarah' directs this fun loving potboiler while Mahendra Dhariwal produces this film. The film has line up of music composers to deliver the needful and it includes the likes of Dabbo Malik, Anand Raj Anand, Nikhil-Vinay, DJ Suketu and Pritam. The album promises musical entertainment with ten original soundtracks with one added bonus track from 'Phir Hera Pheri'. The original soundtracks of 'Nehle Pe Dehla' can be heard on T-Series cassettes and CD's.

PARVAR DIGARA: Pritam stands as the most promising in this long queue of composers and the albums picks up well with his number "Parvar Digara". Least heard Tulsi Kumar holds the mike along with talented KK in this fun- loving and fast-packed soundtrack. It's a frolicking number with impressive lyrics by Pancchi Jalonvi and has the trendy feel of trance and hip-hop music. Tulsi Kumar sounds monotonous and routine and KK croons to maximum, giving it a vocal thrust. Pritam's foo-thumping music and beats have shades from "Saalami" ('Dhoom') besides having sufficient gripping to make listeners glue to it for a couple of hearings. Sizzling Neha Dhupia will be adding fuel n fire with her hot sensuous moves in this aggressively promoted item number. DJ Suketu chills out with peppy and frolicsome disco beats in loud and entertaining "Parvar Digara (remix)". The playful decorum is created with full blast and the remix sounds much better than the original soundtrack.

HOGA HOGA KHUDA GAWAH: Zubin Garg has proved to be new star in the tinsel town and fulfills all promises in "happy go lucky" soundtrack "Hoga Hoga Khuda Gawah". DJ Suketu gets into the chair of music composer and come out with disco beat filled rollicking soundtrack with strong blend of hip-hop and rock music. Zubin's voice has been rage with the tremendous success of "Ya Ali" and it too has shades of Sufi rock to impress pop genre. It has some promise of hitting chartbuster and by far the most impressive soundtrack of the album.

HUSN HUSN: Anand Raj Anand may have surprise with 'Aryan' but "Husn Husn" is average offering from him. It has the backdrop of old fashion fast paced numbers of 80's and 90's with extra tinge of Salsa music in the later stages of the song. Folksy voice of Jaspinder Singh sounds too jarring with Shaan delivering another average performance. The soundtrack rings alarm of mediocrity in the album and it continues in the later numbers.

IMAAN DOL JAAYENGE: Disappointment continues with raunchy and loud "Imaan Dol Jaayenge" from the kitty of experienced Anand Raj Anand. Its sound too old fashioned and with loud and garish lyrics by Dev Kohli, it irritates to maximum. Sunidhi Chauhan's gaudy vocals coupled with Vinod Rathod's harsh and deafening makes it an avoidable affair. Even the Punjabi flavored music fails to make it an appealing soundtrack. Skip it!

NEHLE PE DEHLA: Pritam gets the honor of delivering the title track "Nehle Pe Dehla" and comes out with full musical thrust. It has shades from title track of 'Dil Chahta Hai' with added spicy touch of hip-hop and keyboard fillers. Shaan delivers worthy performance with youthful spirits and promises to work an in positive way for the promotion of the film.

The second version of the title track comes in upbeat musical hip-hop setting with the support of the enthused voices of Kunal Ganjawala and Shaan. It has accelerated tempo with different rhythmic pattern but should work well as background score in the film. Both the title tracks have energy but lack the gripping impact to draw listeners to make it super hit or chartbusting soundtrack in coming days.

BOTTLE MEIN MAIN: Daboo Malik comes up with average soundtrack "Bottle Mein Main" in a typical Bollywood style of "tapori" song. Salim Bijnori's lyrics are "run of mill" heard million times in "sharaabi" or "tapori" style songs with unimpressive musical arrangements. Vinod Rathod and Abhijeet sing this mediocre with minimum impact with the support of Sunidhi Chauhan. Poor musical display continues and this one adds one more worry to album sales prospects.

SHARARATI: New singing talent Saumayjit Ghosh gets the honor of rendering the only solo male soundtrack "Shararati" in the album. The singer sounds similar to Babul Supriyo and comes out with decent performance in this mediocre number. Nikhil-Vinay's composition is old style musical rendition of 90's with Faiz Anwar hardly offering anything enticing or appealing.

NEELE NEELE ANKHOWALI: Pop singer Mika Singh along with new singer Tarannum Malik croons out as pub singers in yet another mediocre soundtrack "Neele Neele Ankhowali". Anand Raj Anand's music is big disappointment again; Dev Kohli's lyrics are weird and it never sounds like soundtrack for A-list entertainer. It tries to retrace the late 90's era music but with uninspiring and shoddy display when David Dhawan's films ruled the box office. Mika Singh misses out a big opportunity of establishing himself in the big league after average success of "Dil Mein Baaje Guitar" ('Apna Sapna Money Money'). Tarannum Malik's shrill and garish vocals come at screeching pace to irritate listeners and make it a passable affair. Skip it!

The music of 'Nehle Pe Dehla' shows sign of fatigue with most of tracks sounding stale and old fashioned. Pritam rendered soundtracks show some promise with surprise from DJ Suketu's sole composition "Hoga Hoga Khuda Gawah". The rest of the soundtracks are huge disappointment and will decimate the promising sales prospects of the album. It may sound discouraging that an album with A-List actors comes out with bunch of discarded and haggard soundtracks.

    DISAPPOINTMENT!
