Similar Opposites by Rahul Mishra Chanderi has always been the weapon of choice for Rahul Mishra, and this time, he takes his collection a notch up with jersey and merino wool inclusions. The designer showcased his Autumn Winter 2012 collection called ‘Similar Opposites’ at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in New Delhi. Models sashayed down the ramp clad in dresses, sarees, shirts, trenches, and jumpsuits. Fashion for a Cause Bollywood celebs never shy away from supporting a social cause. And it only becomes a double whammy for the audiences to see tinsel town stars display poise and grace in a fashion show conveying a social message. Recently, tinsel town celebrities strutted down the ramp in Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC’s collections for the fundraiser Cancer Patients Aids Association in Mumbai. From sarees to anarkalis to lehengas for women and from sherwanis to coat pants for men, the collection had something for everyone. Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra sashayed down the ramp as the showstopper for the show. Harmony by Pam and Arch The London based designer sisters, Pamela and Archana, once again thrilled the audience with their trendy line of women’s wear under the label Pam and Arch London, at Lakme Fashion Week held last year in Mumbai. Exuding oomph, models strutted down the ramp in dresses combined with boots. The silhouettes were kept simple to highlight the prints and the colours were muted with earthy tones.
