Jewellery Show by Tanishq They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. And it could be truly seen the way models flaunted the precious stone on the ramp recently. The diamond collection was showcased by premium jewellery brand ‘Tanishq’ in Patna city. From rings, earrings to bracelets, the collection had it all. Rose-cut polkis were used to give the sparkling stone a different touch. Madhubani Inspired Collection Madhubani is regarded as one of the best-known genres of Indian folk painting. The art belongs to Mithila region of Bihar state. And designer Agnimitra Paul tried to give this art a fit into fashion as she showcased her Madhubani inspired collection at a fashion show held in Patna city. Models sashayed down the ramp clad in dresses, anarkalis and sarees. Bollywood diva Neha Dhupia strutted the ramp as a showstopper for the designer. Drape Yourself in Silk Be it Kanjeevaram saris of Tamil Nadu or Muga silk saris of Assam, one could find the choicest varieties of saris from all across the country under one roof. As the silk saris exhibition was recently organized in the Chennai city with an aim to boost the silk weavers’ trade in the country. Large number of local as well as global buyers and onlookers thronged at the exhibition.
