Chopra clan Uday is remaking super hit Hindi `Bunty Aur Babli` in English and hopes to rope in Canadian actor Michael Cera and American country singer and occasional actress Taylor Swift to play the main leads. Uday says the movie’s script isn’t complete yet, so he wants to make it a little more quirky and comic than the Hindi version. Chopras have incorporated YRF Entertainment in the US to produce English films, and made Uday, the COO of the US company. This is to recall that Aditya and Yash Chopra had produced `Bunty Aur Babli` in 2005 featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles. The movie became a super hit in which two lovable crooks faked the sale of Taj Mahal! Uday clarifies that the production house will go for an international cast and crew for the films that they make there. Even writers and directors will be from outside India.

Uday is all set to launch a new label of comic books, "Yomics", based on Yash Raj movies like ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The actor says that most people don`t want to get into comics because they don`t want to put money into it. But he is determined to create an industry which doesn`t exist today. There are four titles which are ready, and they comprise ‘Dhoom’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Hum Tum’ and a new character called Daya Prochu. The actor says that the fifth title is in the pipeline and will be introduced during Diwali. Uday also says that every month a new `Yomic` will come out. Daya Prochu, according to him, is shown to be a fun school-going boy with whom everyone will be able to relate. “Daya is a school child and his thoughts are different. We all have a Daya Prochu in us. We have all been bullied, but his character bullies other people. It`s a fun character”. Uday adds, his "Yomics" are very different from conventional comic books which are available. He has kept the art work very colorful and simple. It is not grim. Today`s comics are very grim and dark. I want to stay away from that. I want to cater to a universal audience and make them feel happy about it. I will enter that realm also but right now I want to make them very appealing". The Yash Raj banner is known for its love sagas and these surely will not be kept out of their comic books. Chopra plans to introduce them eventually also.
